I Am The Samurai Caregiver
I have learned that the manner in which I deliver and execute my duties and responsibilities as a caregiver aligns very closely with the Code of The Bushido; the code of the Samurai Warrior: Jin - cultivate a sympathetic understanding of people Gi - embody and preserve meticulous ethics Chu - demonstrate loyalty to one's master (God/Spirit/Source) Ke - esteem and look after one's parents Rei - show respect for others Chi - enhance wisdom by broadening one's knowledge Shin - be trustful at all times Tei - care for the aged and those of a humble station I encourage caregivers to be strong; to be and remain centered at all times in all ways especially when circumstances present themselves to the contrary I remind caregivers to feel and be empowered at all times to know, not think, but know they are empowered at have the right to be assertive in the execution of their duties and responsibilities for the that has been entrusted into their care; especially when the circumstances present themselves to the contrary I extol all caregivers to be ever mindful of the following: "Peace isn't merely the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice"*
To this end, I invite all true caregiver to adopt the Code of the Bushido** to come respect it, embrace it and become one with it by claiming it as their own | Author
